2005年のブランド創設から約3年間、幾度もの試行錯誤を重ねて完成した、orSlowのフラッグシップともいえる定番の5ポケットジーンズです。

1960年代初期のヴィンテージジーンズを細かく分析し、当時の独特な雰囲気や素材感、縫製仕様を再現することを目指して開発されたモデルです。

シルエットは細すぎず、太すぎないスタンダードなストレートフィット。流行に左右されない普遍的なデザインで、さまざまなスタイルに自然になじみ、長く愛用できる一本です。フロントにはクラシックなボタンフライを採用しています。

素材には、1960年代初期のヴィンテージデニムを研究し、特別に開発したムラ糸を使用して、旧式のシャットル織機でゆっくりと織り上げたorSlowオリジナルのセルビッジデニムを使用しています。

糸の太さやムラの出方、織り上げる際のテンションなど、細部にまでこだわって作られたこのデニムは、自然な凹凸と奥行きのある独特の表情が特徴です。

着用と洗濯を繰り返すことで、1960年代初期のヴィンテージデニムを思わせる自然な色落ちやアタリが現れ、orSlowオリジナルデニムならではの独特な経年変化を楽しむことができます。

また、生地だけでなく、使用するミシンや縫い糸、縫製仕様に至るまで細かなこだわりが詰め込まれています。これらは新品の状態では目立たない部分もありますが、長年穿き込むことでステッチ周辺のパッカリングや独特のアタリとして徐々に表面に現れ、ジーンズ全体に豊かな表情を生み出していきます。

Developed through nearly three years of research, experimentation, and refinement following the founding of orSlow in 2005, the 105 Standard Denim is the brand's flagship five-pocket jean and one of its most iconic styles.

Inspired by vintage jeans from the early 1960s, this model was carefully developed through an in-depth study of authentic examples from that era, with the aim of recreating their distinctive character, fabric texture, and construction details.

The silhouette features a classic straight fit that is neither too slim nor too loose. With its timeless proportions and versatile design, it can be worn effortlessly with a wide range of styles and enjoyed for years to come. The jeans feature a traditional button-fly front.

The fabric is orSlow's original selvedge denim, woven slowly on vintage shuttle looms using specially developed slub yarns inspired by authentic vintage denim from the early 1960s.

Every detail of the fabric has been carefully considered, from the thickness and irregularity of the yarns to the weaving tension, creating a naturally uneven surface with a rich, distinctive character.

With repeated wear and washing, the denim gradually develops beautiful fading, natural wear patterns, and unique variations in texture, capturing the distinctive aging characteristics of vintage jeans from the early 1960s.

Beyond the fabric itself, particular attention has been given to the sewing machines, stitching threads, and construction techniques used throughout the jeans. Many of these subtle details may not be immediately noticeable when new, but they gradually reveal themselves through years of wear.

As the denim ages, distinctive puckering along the seams, natural fading around the stitching, and subtle variations in texture emerge, adding depth and character to the jeans.
