日本国内でも限られた工場にしか残されていない、旧式の吊り編み機で編み上げたオリジナル素材を使用したクルーネックスウェットシャツです。

吊り編み機は、現代の高速編み機とは異なり、非常にゆっくりとした速度で生地を編み上げるため、1日に生産できる量が限られています。時間をかけて生地に余計なテンションをかけずに編むことで、独特のふっくらとした風合いと、柔らかく自然な伸縮性を持つ生地に仕上がります。

吊り編み機ならではの空気を含んだような柔らかさと、身体を優しく包み込む快適な着心地が特徴です。 また、現在では吊り編み機を稼働させている工場が国内でも数少なく、手間と時間をかけて生産される非常に貴重な素材です。

デザインは、1960年代から1970年代にかけてアメリカの映画俳優やミュージシャンたちが着用していたヴィンテージスウェットシャツを参考にしています。

当時のシンプルで飾り気のないデザインや自然なシルエットを取り入れ、流行に左右されることなく長く愛用できる一着に仕上げました。

Crafted from original fabric knitted on traditional loopwheel machines, this crew neck sweatshirt reflects a rare and time-honored Japanese textile-making technique.

Unlike modern high-speed knitting machines, traditional loopwheel machines operate at an exceptionally slow pace, producing only a limited amount of fabric each day. By knitting slowly with minimal tension on the yarns, the fabric develops a naturally soft, full-bodied texture with gentle stretch and a distinctive feel.

The result is an exceptionally soft and comfortable fabric with a unique, airy texture that can only be achieved through traditional loopwheel knitting. Today, only a small number of factories in Japan continue to operate these machines, making this carefully produced fabric particularly rare and valuable.

The design is inspired by vintage American sweatshirts worn by actors and musicians during the 1960s and 1970s.

Drawing from the simple, understated designs and natural silhouettes of that era, the sweatshirt has been carefully developed to offer a timeless fit that remains comfortable and versatile regardless of changing trends.
