Inspired by the M-42 Two Pocket HBT Trousers worn by the U.S. Army during World War II in the 1940s, this model was carefully developed to faithfully recreate the distinctive character and construction of the original vintage military trousers.
Through a detailed study of authentic vintage examples, particular attention was given to every element, from fabric texture and silhouette to sewing techniques, buttons, and construction details.
The fabric is 100% cotton herringbone twill (HBT), carefully selected to closely reproduce the texture and appearance of the original material used in U.S. Army clothing during the 1940s.
Herringbone twill is characterized by its distinctive V-shaped weave pattern, offering durability and a unique textured appearance. Widely used in military workwear during the 1940s, this fabric captures the substantial feel and natural character of authentic vintage military clothing.
The trousers feature authentic 13-star buttons, a distinctive detail found on U.S. military garments during World War II. These buttons further enhance the historical character of the design.
Large pockets positioned on both sides are one of the most recognizable features of the original military trousers. Designed for practical storage, they remain highly functional and convenient for modern everyday use.
The silhouette features a deep rise and a generous wide fit, offering ample room from the thighs down to the hems. These proportions faithfully recreate the relaxed, rugged character of original 1940s U.S. Army trousers.
